We offer aircraft maintenance and modifications on a large variety of Airbus, Bell, Sikorsky, Leonardo, & MD Helicopter products. Sterling Helicopter has contracts and provides services to clients from Law Enforcement, VIP, EMS, and Individual Private Owners.
Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented individual to support the receiving, inspecting, and shipping of our daily shipments. This role involves a blend of physical work and computer proficiency, making it perfect for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect daily shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Prepare shipments for both domestic and international destinations, adhering to shipping regulations and requirements.
- Handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining our inventory and shipping records.
- Provide general support in the parts room, assisting with inventory organization and part distribution.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency in the parts room.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs, safely and effectively.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift experience a plus
