Sterling has DARs on staff that are authorized to perform part conformities. Our airplane and helicopter part certification services can be on any newly manufactured parts or new prototype parts that will be used for testing or certification. If attached to an STC project, airplane and helicopter part certification can be in the form of an RFC or Request for Conformity.
Our airplane and helicopter FAA part certification allows the entire process to be documented to the FAAs standard using NACIP (National Automated Conformity Inspection Process). This will link the conformity actions directly to the STC project, allowing for easier acceptance of test data.
Similar to our airplane and helicopter part certification services, we also offer installation conformity. This can also be linked to NACIP with the parts being installed. Everything together gives the FAA the confidence that your new parts and installations are accurate to the design data.
